1. Missing Critical Chain Wear & Crack Checks?

You glance at the chain. "Looks fine." But hidden stress fractures? They're invisible killers. I've seen chains snap at 40% capacity because nobody measured properly.

Check chain wear monthly with calipers. If diameter reduces by over 10%, replace it immediately. Look for cracks near weld points - especially in high-humidity environments.
