一、What is the manual winch

The manual winch, also known as the hand winch, is a mechanical appliance. It pulls the goods by manually shaking the winch roll. The winch wire rope drum driven by the gear pulls the goods by rotating the wire rope around it.

The manual winch is equipped with automatic braking device, which makes it safer to operate. When the winch wire rope pulls the goods and the winch drum remains stationary, the brake will automatically open. When various rescue work is required, the manual winch is another option besides the vehicle-mounted winch. Its advantage is that it can be portable and connected from any direction of the car.

二、Installation and fixation method of hand winch

1. Install the winch: open the package and take out the winch. Turn the hex screw and thin washer away from the end of the gear axe. Fix the nut on the handle to the trapezoidal turbine at the end of the gear axe to make the inside of the nut close to the friction part. Then, tighten the screws and shim II.

2. Install the winch wire rope: loosen the hexagon screw on the left fixing plate of the winch drum, and take down the fixing plate from the wire rope and the screw with round head and square column. Wind one end of the wire rope on the drum in a clockwise direction, and the other end passes through the long, round and arc-shaped hole on the left side of the guardrail. The exposed length of wire rope shall be 7-10 cm. Pass the screw with oval head and square column through the square hole on the left side of the reel from inside to outside. Put it into the steel wire rope fixing plate, make the steel wire rope rotate around this screw, pull back to insert the steel wire rope into the fixing plate, then tighten and fix it with hexagon nut, shake the handle to make the steel wire rope wind on the reel (when winding the steel wire rope, keep its tension).

3. Use three screws and nuts to fix the winch to the base. The base can withstand heavy loads.

三、Precautions for use of manual winch

1. Do not use manual winch to pull or move people.
2. Do not overload.
3. Do not use the wire rope if it is damaged, broken, flat rusted or knotted.
4. When working, do not buckle the pull hook at the end of the wire rope on the wire rope to avoid wearing the wire rope.

5. When pulling the goods, the wire rope and the reel should be vertical, otherwise it is easy to wear the wire rope.
6. When the heavy load is pulled by the winch, the pulley is used to reduce the load of the winch and wire rope.
7. When the wire rope is wound on the reel for less than 5 turns, do not use the winch to pull the goods. Otherwise, the fixed plate will not bear the heavy load and cause accidents.
8. When the winch is working, do not touch the wire rope, reel or pulley. When the wire rope needs to be sorted, please wear gloves and cover the wire rope with thick cloth.
