How to use chain block and precautions during use
1. Before lifting, the weight of the heavy object shall be verified, and the hoist with proper positioning shall be selected. Overload lifting is strictly prohibited. It is forbidden to lift heavy objects buried underground or condensed on the ground.
2. During the borrowing period of the hoist, the user must check the hoist before each use, and can use it only after confirming that it is in good condition.
3. Before each lifting operation, check whether the upper and lower hooks are fastened. The hooks shall not be skewed or the weight is on the tip of the hook. The lifting chain shall be hung vertically, and there shall be no twisted chain links, so as to prevent the chain from getting stuck during lifting and affecting the normal operation of the machine parts. It is strictly forbidden to bind the heavy objects with lifting chains. The supporting point of the hanging chain block must be firm and stable, and its bearing capacity should match the lifting capacity of the block.
4. During operation, the lifting shall be carried out slowly. After the lifting chain is tensioned, the stress condition of equipment and heavy objects shall be checked comprehensively. Pay special attention to whether the lifting chain is kinked. If any kink is found, it must be adjusted properly. The operation can be continued only after the check is normal.
5. The operator should stand in the same plane as the hand chain wheel and pull the hand chain, so that the hand chain wheel rotates clockwise to make the weight rise: pull the hand chain in the reverse direction, the hand chain wheel exits the brake seat, and release the ratchet at the same time, the pawl does not play a braking role, and the weight can fall slowly. Do not drag the hand chain in an oblique direction at a plane different from the hand chain wheel to avoid the hand chain bar getting stuck and the hoist twisting.
6. In the process of lifting, no matter the weight rises or falls, when dragging the hand chain, the force should be even and gentle, and not too strong, so as to avoid the hand chain jumping or snap ring. If it is found that the hand chain cannot be pulled, do not jerk, let alone increase the number of people, and immediately stop using, find out the cause, and eliminate the fault. Two people are allowed to pull the chain hoist hand zipper of more than 10 tons (including 10 tons), and only one person is allowed to pull the other small tonnage.
7. During operation, the operator shall not stand on the heavy object, nor leave the site after lifting the heavy object in the air. (To be determined on site under special circumstances).
8. If it is necessary to suspend the load temporarily during lifting, the hand zipper shall be tied to the lifting chain; If you need to stay for a long time, you should put wooden blocks under the weight to prevent accidents due to the failure of the self-locking mechanism.
9. When lifting heavy objects, it is strictly forbidden to do any work or walk under the heavy objects to avoid personal injury and death.
10. The distance of lifting or lowering heavy objects shall not exceed the specified lifting height to prevent damage to the machine parts.
11. When inclined or horizontal use, reduce the load by 50%, and pay attention to adjust the direction of the zipper to conform to the direction of the sprocket to prevent the hand zipper from slotting or chain seizure. When horizontal use, the bearing chain should also be padded at the entrance of the zipper.
